I have been into photography ever since I can remember, when I used dads Instamatic on holidays and then I was given a Polaroid for Christmas, I still have some of the photos I took with that camera, I used to play around with double exposure to create ghost effects, not bad for a ten year old, later on in my teens I saved up for my first SLR which was a Zenit EM my first real Camera which I loved.
When I left school and started work at Martin Baker (30 years ago) I brought a Pentax ME and turned my dads shed into a dark room, I was never any good at developing colour photographs so this did not last long. From the age’s of 25 to 40 I went away from still photography and into video where I filmed a few weddings which was nerve wrecking but great fun. When the digital age arrived I brought my self an Olympus 1.4meg pix camera, cost me and arm and a leg but I made up for all those years with out using a still camera, Now I use a Canon D60 and Canon 1D, The self editing of my photos now in the digital age is a lot easier than it was in my fathers shed all those years ago.
